BACKWORLD are known to most people from the World Serpent era, when they were the most famous representatives of Neo / Psychedelic Folk together with Current 93, Death In June and Sol Invictus. On "Sacred & Profane Songs" Joseph Budenholzer has now selected 11 songs from this era, polished them all up in the studio and at the same time had them carefully remastered by Bobby Bachinger. In addition, there are two new tracks that Joseph recorded especially for this album in late 2019 ( In This New Dark Age & Love and Its Disintegration).

ONE MAN'S COLLECTION contains 12 selected tracks from the "golden" early years of BLACKHOUSE. All tracks have been remastered in 2019 especially for this album and have been dedusted in the best possible way, i.e. it's crashing, booming and humming out of the speakers that it's a real pleasure. Additionally there is an 8 page booklet with rare photos and the detailed history of the individual tracks / albums from the years 1984 - 1989, commented by Brian Ladd of BLACKHOUSE.
