After the split with Thomas Petersson, who is now doing his own project ORDO EQUILIBRIO, Mikael Stavöstrand decided to keep ARCHON SATANI alive and the result can be seen in the new release "In Shelter".

Forget all cheap noise collages from the so called "Death Industrial" bands of this genre, ARCHON SATANI brings you 5 dark ambient structured tracks, with sometimes bleak and evil monotonous sounds. A word of warning thoug -- this release is very minimalistic in function.Although there is an ambience to the tracks on this CD, it is obviously about something much darker. Start with the cover and inner artwork: the primordial forest and themes of bondage -- this is no fetish game here. Some more ancient is being exposed. The cold, droning electronics are like some kind of resonating frequency being sent through the tree trunks of this aged forest.... Haunting, demonic-almost alien-sounds used for the creation of certain feelings to the listener. Feelings of depression, sadism and awakening. Awakening of the shadow self. The beast self.
